At least in the US JWs are not considered legally as Solicitors, and even if they were no Solicitors signs aren't enforceable by the law. No Trespassing is a different story, Trespassing is a legally defined action. Just like No Junk Mail is a subjective thing, what is considered junk by one person may not be considered junk by someone else, and technically it is not mail as Mail is defined by something that goes through the postal service.

"No junk mail". How witnesses ignore these signs!
by stuckinarut2 inas we know, many people have "no junk mail" signs on their home letterboxes.
this clearly means that they do not want unsolicited mail or advertising material.. so how are witnesses getting around this?.
during the campaign to distribute the convention invitations, when they come across a house with "no junk mail", they are just putting the leaflet inside an envelope and hand writing "to the householder" on the front and putting it in the letterbox!.

I understand that it is a ratio that you are looking at but you would have to do a ratio of the number of Catholic priests to the number of Catholic priests who are paedophiles, that is one ratio. Then you would do a ratio of the number of elders to the number of elders that are paedophiles. So it is not just a ratio of priests to the number of Catholics just like elders to the number of JWs.

I am in no way saying that Watchtower doesn't have a problem with paedophiles. But unless you are saying that all JWs are the equivalent in rank to a Catholic Priest then the numbers don't add up. Yes, there are 1,006 paedophiles that were found by the ARC but not all of them were elders, which I would consider as the equivalent to a Catholic Priest or a Protestant Minister. Only a small amount were actually elders or pioneers or MS, while the rest were just publishers in the congregations. Unless the ARC took into account every paedophile's religion into consideration and tallied that up to give a number of paedophiles in each religion you cannot compare apples to apples but you are comparing apples to oranges. -

Obviously, the child abuse issue within Watchtower is bad. But I don't get how people say it is 4 times or on JWSurvey one commenter keeps saying 18 times worst than the Catholic Church. I don't get where you are coming up with these comparison numbers.

Like I said I understand why people on here are so mad at the statement. But also a number of people here think that College is a guarantee of a good job. Do you know how many people with college degrees that have been out of work? While yes generally a college degree does raise the expected earnings of people, it is not a guarantee to a good job. Also, a number of people here speak with such disrespect for jobs like janitors or window washers. These can be good paying jobs with good benefits and there is nothing wrong with those types of jobs. A janitor can make more money than a person with a Masters in Fine Art. It is also the perspective that the person has towards their job that has to be taken into consideration.
